After yesterday's talk about the Carrera Fury Offer at Halfrauds I reserved one that is available for collection tonight. Before I commit though I thought I'd look at the competition and decide (well ask here for an opinion) whether it was worth spending a bit more. so the options are.... (others from cycle surgery in Holborn)
1) Carrera Fury from Halfrauds at yesterdays offer of £440 (normally £560)
2) Cube Analog -£549
3) Giant Talon 3 £600
4) Specialized Hardrock pro £600

the suntour fork still puts me off the Cube, i have ridden sutour equipped bikes before and the forks were very unresponsive and lacked control.
worth noting that tredz have it for 49 though?

the giant is 32lbs which is unbelieveably heavy and you will notice this on the trails, both on the climbs as well as on the faster, twisty bits.

i still dont think the hardrock is worth the £150 extra unless you can get it cheap from a smaller independant.

Why do you call Halfords Halfrauds? Looks like they are offering a good deal!
