Any other PHers doing it this year? I was persuaded by a keen cyclist friend as he knew that I used to race (I stopped racing over 10 years ago). I can't wait and looking forward to being one of the only people on a hardtail. Never done it before and living in Lincolnshire doesn't help much with my non existent training!!

Good effort, but be prepared for your arms and brake fingers to hurt!!

Hopefully you're planning to ride in the Alps at least a few days before you attempt the Mega?

We are going for the whole week so should get some practice in. We're planning on doing quite a few runs of the full course and if my bike fails, I will rent something.
