TdF on itv player

I am trying to get itv4 highlights of the tdf from the itv player on the iPad. Downloaded the player but can't find the program. I know some programs aren't played on the player but I can watch the highlights on the pc from the website which also runs player but that is a flash player which obviously doesn't work on the iPad. Am I missing something obvious as far as watching on the iPad is concerned or is this just one of those stupid not very well thought throughout technology oversights by the tech heads at itv?

The 7pm highlights program doesn't get released on the ITV version of the Iplayer till about 11.30pm-midnight. I know it's crap, my 3&4 year old kids go to bed between 7&8 so I end up having to wait till then to watch it online, BBC are so much better at this multi-media stuff.
