Headset help please!
Discussion
Hello all
My headset is in need of replacing on my 2006 Mongoose Teocali (pic here: http://cokupic.pl/i/c_big376432.jpg )
I am completely technically clueless when it comes to headset measurements and fitment, however from some researching online I discovered it requires a semi-integrated / zero stack headset. My current headset is a WTB Team, although there seem to be several different styles/fitments for this model.
Anyway without haste I bought one of these on ebay: http://www.shinybikes.com/images/P/121-0325.jpg
I then started to question my judgement and whether or not this would actually fit, it looks a little strange visually (in particular around the lower section) to most other headsets. The Comp bog standard version of the Teocali of the same year however came with a "Ritchey Logic Zero" headset. Again after some googling, the most common seems pretty similar in appearance to the one I bought ( http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/product-images-larg... ) but again there are a few different fitments.
The measurements seem to tally up to what I found suggested online, my only concern is that it looks different to most headsets. After some thinking I expected it to look more like this: http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product_images/Medium...
What do you think, judging by pictures do you reckon it will fit correctly? Sorry for probably a very confusing post but am myself very confused! Probably should have asked before buying haha. Thanks

Your first link shows an integrated headset, one where the bearings run directly in the frame so you've bought the wrong one. You want a semi integrated headset which has bearings that run in cups that are flush in the frame

Thanks for the info guys.... the actual item listing on ebay is this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FSA-Orbit-IS-2-CC-Semi-Integ...
which states its semi-integrated. at first thoughts i presumed they may have added the wrong image to the listing but when googling the name of the headset they all look like that. confusing! if I were to return the item should I tell them its because they wrongly listed it as a semi-integrated one?
many thanks
