frame respray colour choise

Hi Guys, Want to freshen up my frame and thinking of a respray but I have no idea of what colour to go. Any thoughts as to what would look good?

Cobalt blue is cool


I always thought Palmer's Intense looked great, and your frame is vaguely similar. Or maybe just the yellow.

Quite like the cobalt blue actually. Thats pretty nice.

Palmers frame looks a little "fisher price" in its colours to me, and its not his FSR which I'd give a limb for!!

Before scrolling down, I thought "yellow. Loud yellow".

Cobalt or bright green would work. Basically any primary colour (light or paint). Jut remember: loud colour says "look at me", so be sure you've got the ability to stand behind the colour!

Another vote for green. I sprayed a bike many years ago, and it was my colour of choice back then too.

That Kawasaki green is awesome. I'm considering powdercoating another frame and that could be a winner. I just had a frame done in "Clio-R27-anthracite-alloy" though - leftover powder from a recent job my local guy did. Very reserved but classy IMO.

I do like bright frame colours too though!

I may have replied to another post of this bike, but I really like this bike and the colour. It just has "no nonsense" written all over it. I need to sell my BMX and buy something like this.

Does it wheelie well? That's all I want out of a bike these days. Something simple that I can wheelie, and land on a pair of unburstable sus forks. The BMX wasn't quite the bike I thought it should be (well, it might have been if I were still the 14yo I was when I bought the first one), so I'm going to try something else. You only live once etc etc.

Its a dialled PA so made by a company that makes BMX's!!

Yep, its built almost entirely of second hand parts and I wanted a bike that would be tonnes of fun, take loads of abuse and just be happy to go out and ride on. CK Headset, X9, boggo coil pikes, Pro II hubs, Formula 1 brakes with superstar discs, raceface am cranks & BB etc etc.

It's a small so only 15". I don't think I'd like to ride north of 40km in a day on it. But for a short sharp hit and for battering around the woods, its an absolute hoot.

Slighty O/T I also massively rate the Maxxis Advantage tyres for hardtail hacking about.

I could go on...

Suffice to say its my favourite bike ever!




(although I did fall in love with my ghost today a little bit while doing the MBR brecon loop)
