Performance monitor and Nav System

I recently bought a road bike that came fitted with a Bontrager Node 2. This is fine for real time readout but there is no way of storing performance data and transferring it to a computer. And there is no Sat Nav.

The bike has ANT+ Speed and Cadence sensors fitted and I have an ANT+ HRM.

If I were starting from scratch I would probably go for a Garmin 800 or similar. Any suggestions on the most cost effective way of upgrading what I have to give me navigation and downloadable data.
