Bike shop sticky ?

In the Food/Drink section are a couple of sticky's (stickies?) listing good restaurants pubs etc. I was wondering if there was any appetite to do something similar for bike shops.

A regional listing of good LBS's might be a worthwhile addition to this sub-forum. I've just had some very good service from mine and would recommend them to others through such a medium if it existed.

It would have to be recommendations only, as otherwise it may infringe on the PH anti-slagging rules.

What do you reckon?

Good idea. And based on one visit when I was desperate, I'm going with Cult Cycles in Earlswood, Midlands. That was for service not sales.

I also like Red Kite in Shirley (also Midlands) for sales but they're fantastically too busy for "emergency" or even "quick-turnaround" service.

Maybe a wiki with what they can and can't do? My lbs is a cycles uk, they dont do fancy road stuff and wont build or true wheels, but they are helpful and for the basics they are fine and if you arent in a rush they can get most things at reasonable-ish prices.

I can very highly recommend Cycle Surgery in Chertsey, fantastic service.
