Any thoughts on a 2011 Trek 7.5 or 7.6 FX?
Discussion
I am thinking it is nearly time to change by 1993 Marin Pallisades Trail(!) and my eye has ben drawn to Trek FX hybrid range - does anyone have one or any thoughts on them? Most of my riding is on road, mainly commuting about 7 miles to the office so I need something which is reasonably light and sturdy, and also looks good!
looks nice, loads of other hybrids have heavy, ineffective suspension forks so its nice to see a rigid bike that is well specced for the money.
good size chainrings too so it will be fast.
evans are doing it for £650, well worth a look but dont think about it too long as stocks might be low...

discs arent that hard to maintain and you just need to keep an eye on pads and fluids. they prove their worth in the rain!
Indeed. I tend to not commute in the rain in London because I can't stop quickly when I need to.(It has nothing to do with not wanting to get wet, and no, I couldn't just ride slower, I'd get even wetter.)
