GPS: Satmap Active 10 vs Garmin 800
Discussion
i'm looking into gps devices. my requirements are:
road - to be able to plot a route and see a birds eye of my route as i cycle, on an os map style map. to be able to share routes with other riders. to have a blipping dot (or something similar) that tells me where I am
offroad - a detailed enough map (i assume os style) to that i can just go on a ride and take a path as i come to it, or to plot and follow a route which will predominantly be offroad.
can i get this for £300 or less? and what would you advise as the better model, or can you suggest any others?

Add a micro SD card for a fiver from Amazon and then download the free 1:25000 maps from http://talkytoaster.info/ukmaps.htm
I've not tried the satmap and my Edge 800 only arrived yesterday and I haven't had a chance to play much but it seems pretty cool. Smaller than I was expecting
