2012 Canyon Bikes - Release Date?

I'm dying to pull the trigger on a nearve AM!

I did email Canyon re the 2012 bikes and there response was "We will announce a release date shortly".

Does anyone recall what date the 2011 bikes were released?

Mid October according to their facebook page.

I'm surprised its that long to be honest, they have been sold out of road stuff for a few weeks so i guess they are hoping to have a lot of stock ready for the inital demand.

The Ultimate CF is on my short(er) list so i guess i'll be making a decision soon....

Was looking at this the other day - they have hardly any 2011 hardtails left for sale amd none in my size. I've heard the October date before but have also heard that deliveries may be into the new year - haven't seen any confirmation of this though. I would have thought they would have aimed for Xmas as a key season for them.

These guys were on my shortlist - amazing value. Some great deals on 2011 bikes are pushing them down that list though.

I'm resigned to not having a bike til december. Can deal with that for the value though!

i wouldnt have thought top end bikes are the sort of thing that get bought as presents for intended for christmas day, rather something taht you buy as a christmas present but could actually purchase as and when it suits.

canyon willl be keen to get stuff released as the other manufacturers have got stuff out there already but i also think they are unlikely to be on most peoples lists as a result of the internet only thing, so you are likely to either be 95% considering one or not at all.

if this year is anything to go by, i bet their 2012 range sells out before September 2012. their bikes will be the best value and people will just make extra sure their get the sizing right much like when Focus first came onto the scene.

2012 bikes now up but their site is running very slow, I guess getting alot of hits

website is slower than a Spaniard without a steak but found a CF9, sub 16lbs, full ultegra grouppo, mavic ksyrium equipes (ex pedals!) for £1829... so thats what happens when you cut out the middle man and his 30%! I was almost set on a Dolan Ares draped in Sram Red but.....

you would have to be mad not to seriously consider a Canyon if you are in the market for a new bike.
