Hope Tech Evo M4

Hey guys,
Anybody here using them? Quite tempted to get some, I currently have an old Hope M4 on the front and a Hope 2pot on the back, they work ok but after checking out Hopes tech levers at the LBS I am very tempted to upgrade the brakes to the M4's. They feel amazing, the quality is 2nd to none & I really love the adjustability. My brakes could probably work better with a bleed and with some new pads but the Tech M4's are sat there waiting to be fitted to my bike!
So, I can see the obvious benefits to the lever, but what about the M4 caliper, how does that compare to the old ones? I see the new one has all 4 pistons the same diameter, whereas my old unit uses 2 different sizes. Any benefits?
I am tempted to go and get a set tomorrow, but i'll have to wait til weds to fit the rear as i'll upgrade the rear disc to a 203mm and require an adapter too.

You will probably notice a massive difference as brakes have made big improvements over the last few years.
Not tried the Hope's myself, but most others and I know they will get similar reviews.
Having the pistons the same size probably makes it easier/cheaper to make.
I don't think Hope are the most powerful or the most reliable any more, but a good all-round brake. Formula brakes tend to be the most powerful and Shimano the most bombproof.
I'd probably be tempted to look at the new XT (or perhaps even XTR if money allows). Awesome power!
200mm rotor on the rear will be overkill on the newer brakes unless you are racing downhill. 180/160 or 180/180 is more than enough, even if you ride in the Alps.

If you can find the mag, the latest Singletrack has a disc brake comparison in it which features both the Hope Tech Evo M4 and the Race Evo X2. They reckon the latter is the better of the two and say it's "nigh on perfect for virtually all UK riding". Must admit that the M4 looks nice though.
Nice one, am going into town today to spend some xmas vouchers and will look out for the mag in WH Smithers, the breaks look good after reading some online reviews. They may not be the lightest or the most powerful but they look fantastically well built and designed and i'd rather support british manufacturing, I get stuff made here myself so am all for it!
