I was in Germany last week, and popped into a bike shop to get some spares, and noticed a Hai Q Fourteen - Didn't have time to get much info, but it looked fairly well specced.

The interesting thing was that it comes with a rohloff rear hub as standard, I currently run an alfine and have been looking at upgrading to the rohloff.

Rohloffs seem to be around the 1k mark with a wheel, The Hai bike is 1500 quid with a rohloff rear and either FOX 32 F100 forks or Magura Durins. Both these forks retail for more than 500 quid. So 1500 quid for the whole bike seems a bargain?

Is the rest of the spec not up to scratch, Anyone know anything about these bikes?

Heres the spec (the one I looked at had FOX F100 forks)

Maybe the one you saw was last years model? For £1500 in that spec it is a steal with a Rohloff.
Personally I'd try and track one down with the Magura forks, they are better than Fox forks in my opinion.
