having decided to make the jump from the MTB that myself and the Wife are plugging around the roads on to something more suitable. (looking eventually to do 100+m rides and was thinking Cannondale CAAD10, or equiv for us both).
Can anyone recommend a good shop with staff who know what they are talking about.
We are based in Hants(J5 M3) and ideally would want somewhere that is offering 0% finance as I think we are going to be spending a fair bit as its not just the bikes we need.

TIA

Two guys near me are Fat Birds Don't Fly and Surf 55. Fat Birds do mail order but it's worth a day by the seaside to have a proper look round their shop. Also pop in and see Tony at Surf 55 enroute to see what deals he has. wink

What as made you think of a CAAD10??

I would definitely ask for a long demo ride, the CAAD10 as a very aggresive riding position and coming from a mtb you might find it a tad un-rideable over a long distance.

caad10 is as good a place to start as any, its not that aggressive.... try the synapse and the specilaised allez too. sportive geometry is a little more upright but people ride all sorts on the basis that we are all different shapes and sizes...

Jez I use Cycle Kingdom in Fleet. Top bunch of lads in there, not Cannondale but Specialized. If you need any kit they arent far from you.

Thanks guys, went to Pedalon twice today. Once on my own and spoke at length to a youngish chap who was a star. Left excited to get the OH to go in for fitting and test rides etc.
Went back, the earlier chap was busy and the guy who was helping us was pushing the only womans bike he had so we decided to lrave it as Soph wasn't £1600.00 impressed.
Sad thing is I loved the Cannondale Synapse carbon, had they had the womans in I am sure we would have had 2.
Will try Fleet tomorrow, thanks Fluff (and hi)

Got Soph a Boardman FI Road Team Carbon for under a Grandsmilesmile
Its well specced. Mavic wheels and 105 gearset and they are even going to slap an 11/28 Ultegra cassette on as she had trouble with the hill on our regular route.
All in all very happy and I may get a Boardman myselfsmile
Thanks everyone for your helpsmile
