Post mount calipers on a IS frame/forks

Does anyone know if there is an adapter available to enable me to fit a set of post mount calipers to my bike which has IS fittings. I have seen adapters on Ebay but they seem to be for converting the other way.

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, but I am fairly new to cycling.

calipers mount with the screws facing forward (as opposed to sideways). some modern frames and forks have mounts orientated to accept the caliper directly. these are referred to as 'post mount'. all other frames and forks are usually I.S. (there the screw threads run through side to side) and you simply select the correct IS-post mount adapter for the job.
