I'm after some 26" rims on track or BMX hubs. They have to be bolt up and I'm going to run a BMX freewheel or run it fixed. Spacing isn't so important as it's a steel rear end. I'm building up an old Kona Humu and need wheels!
Not looking to spend a massive amount of money and don't mind secondhand, but I'm struggling to source anything suitable.
Any pointers?

Have you paid a visit to your local council recycling centre - mine (Exeter) has a surprising amount of bikes to buy. You'll probably have to buy a complete bike to get the wheels you're after but haggle hard and you'll pay as little as £20 for a bike. You could have a look on eBay as well.

Google for ISON distribution. They will probably have something to suit, of not prebuilt then you can have a go atwheelbuilding yourself. The Halo kit is great budget gear for the money, rims and hubs.

I have a couple of sets of older MTB wheels which have the old screw on freewheel.

These would accept a BMX single freewheel (as far as I understand it) so maybe just look out for older wheels in good nick.
