Due to the amount of mileage I've been doing this month I started to er...chafe a little bit.

Decided to buy some Ozone Chamois Cream and I have to say it's one of the best bike purchases I've ever made, it makes a 30 mile ride disappear and even the 90 miler I did on Friday caused me no discomfort.

If you have been holding off using some for whatever reason do reconsider, I'm an absolute convert now biggrin

Thanks for the heads up.

Had a look and it seems to work! DO you rub it on your botty or on the shorts/underpants and is it extra smelly afterwards?

It's a similar sensation to rubbing suntan lotion in, I personally 'coat' all my contact points, that's the best way I can think to describe it without going into too much detail!

I've had no sensation of gloopiness and it doesn't leave a mess, excellent stuff!

Don't know about any others, but Chamois Butt'r has a faint and not unpleasant smell, and does the job perfectly well.

Oddly, if the manufacturers of these products are to be believed, we Europeans have a penchant for slathering our cracks in menthol for the tingle? confused

Suffice to say, I'll consider myself American in this if in nothing else! hehe

Me too very good stuff 70 odd miles in the saddle wind rain and scorching sunshine and all my bits felt like they had only done a brief cycle, decent shorts help but if I am doing more than 25-30 miles I always put this stuff on.
