Giant trance xc4 or Canyon nerve xc7.0

Narrowed my choice down to these two, probably going to order tomorrow.

So which would you choose.

Giant is slightly cheaper and would have benefit of better after sales as i could buy locally.

Canyon is a littlew more pricey but appears to have a beeter spec, disadvantage is that it is mail order only.

Also price in the postage and packing from Canyon as this can add up but also look at their extras such as pedals etc. If ordered with the bike you can realise further savings. I have a Nerve XC9 and its ace but then I have nothing to compare it against.

xc7 is just over £1400 with postage.

Trance about £1250 before haggling.

Just ordered the trance x4, paid full retail £1249 but got free delivery and £125 worth of free acessories also 4% cash back via quid co.

getting some v8 pedals, endura gloves,altura shorts, some 661 knee pads, a bottle cage and a good lock as the free gear (well i had to put about an extra 3 quid)

Brilliant bike the Trance XC4, my mate has had one for about 2 years and rides it hard at least once a week, does jumps and generally abuses it, only just started going wrong and that's just the saddle which seems to be getting loose on it's runners. Only thing he's really done to upgrade it is move to Jagwires for the shifters and that masde a huge improvement over the standard shift action and changed the rear hub for a Superstar one after the old one got a bit knackered.
