Tubeless Left for 12 Mnths - What Can I Expect?

Hello my imaginary friends.

For reasons to dull to explain, my MTB has been in storage for 12 months, with Slime in the tyres. I'm expecting most of the air to have escaped from the (tubeless) tyres.

Beyond that, any predictions of what I will find?

Tyres ready to be thrown away with a solid lump of goo attached to each?

Chunks of solidified slime which I can remove and replace?

Something else entirely?

Just one more question?

When you say slime, do you mean Stans or similar? If so just remove the tyre, wash/peel off all the old crud and refit and fill with new.

Very encouraging. I'll get my bike back in 6 weeks or so. And when I do I'll report back.

Had tyre-milk (latex) sealent in my HR's and they sat around for ages. Took the tyres off and just peeled the sealant out from the tyre and used a rough cloth to clean the wheels. Nae probs!

Just bumping with the Acshil Result.

The front tyre still had plenty of very liquid sealant. Added air, spun the wheel, some hissing which grew fainter and then disappeared.

The rear wasn't holding pressure very well. I pushed the bead off the rim, poured some sealant in and added air. It took some pumping with a floor pump, but after a few minutes all sealed up nicely.
