Any PHer's do the Dyfi Enduro yesterday?
Amazing day out!
I saw what I think is the E46 touring with S52 M3 engine, quad exhausts and 318i badge - seen it discussed on here before. Was that you?!
Anyone else?
Dyfi Enduro was a lot of fun, very well organised, great atmosphere and some very techy steep flinty decents.
Any race which includes a girl playing the harp at the top of the first climb, a bunch of local kids as cheerleaders round the corner, a starwars section in the woods (complete with light sabre fights ongoing), a feed van with sausage rolls and a bar 1km from the end is alright by me!
Strava says 61.1k with 2100m climbing. Not sure about that climbing figure, but if its true then I have every right still to be in bed right now

I was there, what a fantastic event! I camped on the Saturday night and the ride on Sunday almost finished me off, I cant even remember riding the 5 miles back to the campsite!
I was in a PH stickered 172 cup but didnt see much interesting metal tbh, although there were some nice T5's on display

Ah, didn't see you, I was in a (slightly grubby by then) black clio 182 and arrived early doors on the Sunday morning.

Yep I rode it too. I took the caravan and stayed over on the Saturday night. Had a thoroughly good ride. Probably went better than my lack of fitness would have suggested and teh descents are always steep and fast. Joe also organizes an Enduro in September at Coed y Brenin and that is well worth doing too.....it does have a little more tarmac and also uses some of the trail network but does have some great natural stuff....its worth a go.
