Thing is, members of the LFGSS, probably don't even need to lock their bikes, any prospective thief is only gonna get, oh, about 200yards before being completely knackered without the benefit of gears to help him................ ;-)

Only thing i can't decide is should it have matching wheels front to back? It gives it some "direction" with the asymetric setup i think, but you'd have to try it (or photoshop it) to help me make up my mind ;-)

Ain't that the truth!
I remember I used to leave my bike in 21st just in case someone hops on and tries to rid off with my bike.

And then it happened!! he got about thirty feet away, then he came off the bike and his head attacked my foot!

Yes I am aware that my bike had gears and that a fixie doesn't.

It's quite normal (am I saying this out loud) for fixies to have mismatched wheels. The odd look is quite intentional, but offset with gold accessories elsewhere.

One of my friends used to just rest a D-lock he found in the spokes of his (admittedly worthless) bike, you could just pull it out and ride off.
It never got nicked.

I joined LFGSS a few months ago, and just use it to look at the "bike porn", get a bit of info on rides, etc. as well as buying a few bits and bobs from the "for sale" threads. Some absolute bargains in there!

But the best bit is that I won 2 tickets to Tour de Lattitude! More than I've ever got from a few years being on PH...
