I'm struggling with long drag hills, basically keeping going.
I was wondering would something like an aerobar setup make such climbs any easier.
Reason I ask is I am thinking of what is the easiest position on an exercise bike for pedalling at high resistances when I'm with my personal trainer. It seems something similar to that which a set of aerobars might give

I've seen people resting their forearms on the top section of the bars and that might be worth a try.
Ghetto aero, or slumped on the handlebars through boredom/exhaustion. Bad, bad, BAD, as you've minimal control over the bike. You can't gp fast when you're on your ass.re. aerobars. They might do a little bit, but I'd say it was the hill making you hurt rather than the aero effort. What aero advantage you may gain would be countered by having to haul them up said hill. Having been in/being in a similar situation, it's a case of Rule 5 and fitness. Work at it.
Aerobars are only really of a meaningful advantage above 20mph, although obviously the faster you go the greater the advantage. They are a compromise in position though as they make it harder to breathe, and the optimum position is often a compromise between "ideal" and "practical" - i.e. not losing power in the aero position.
You might be better off working on spinning you legs a bit more. One of the classic mistakes beginners make is to pedal too slowly which has the effect of loading the legs compared to the cardio-vascular system. It will get easier in time, or you will get faster!
