Covering bikes on a trailer?

I bought one of those covers intended to cover bikes on the back of a motorhome. I don't have a motorhome though - my bikes go on top of the trailer behind me. They are mostly in the air-stream above the height of the roof of my towcar.

This cover's going to blow off isn't it?

I have a load of tie-down straps I could use. Still a crap idea? Save the cover for night-time on the campsite?

And best, it'll blow off, at worst, it'll act as a windbreak and take the bikes with it IMO.

Yeah, it's a crap idea. Abandonded it. I'll keep the cover for when we're parked-up.
