Guys, been riding 18 months or so now and still get sore between the legs and soles of feet. I use Chamois cream and apply "Sudocrem" after riding, a friend has suggested using this before the ride. As for the feet (I'm assuming this is down to the constant pressure), shoes are slightly tight as I have a wide foot so going to take them to be stretched....preferable to soaking in a bucket of water and then riding. Suggestions welcome.

Sounds to me as if a new saddle, and shoes could well be needed if you're not getting on with them after 18 months!

In no particular order:

Don't ever be tempted to wear anything under your bike shorts
Do consider a proper saddle fitting
Do get some shoes that fit - and maybe invest in some with stiffer soles
Do consider a Retul or similar bike fitting session

It's the only way. Thats what the pads are designed for.

^100%. Never wear anything under cycling shorts. Big mistake.

And if your wearing baggy shorts you can get cycling specific padded undershorts.

Nothing worn underneath shorts, bike was custom made. Shoes are "Specialised sworks".

Was the bike properly set up for you as well as being custom made?

Also, have you played around with cleat position on the shoes, you may be putting the power down with the wrong part of your foot?

Yep, bike set up and feels OK. I wondered about cleat position and mentioned this to the dealer who thought not. Perhaps I should change, any guidance?

My specialised shoes have a special sole shape that feels a bit odd. Body geometry I think...

Anyway, maybe try different shoes? I alo have wide feet and my specs shoes are fine
