Can anyone help me identify my bike?

Hi guys,

I have had a Specialized Hard Rock MTB for YEARS now. It's really heavy now, especially compared to the Cube Agree I have just got.

I'd like to see how much it would be likely to fetch on private sale but I haven't got a clue what year it is!

This is a photo of a similar looking frame (I will update with my own pic when I can). Does anyone have any ideas?

We'd really need a photo of yours - the paint jobs change year to year.

Unless yours is painted the same, that is!

Any suggestions for a suitable affordable replacement? It would be mainly used for having a go at Dalby Forest etc to see how I enjoy it. Wouldn't be an every day/road use bike as I've got the Cube for that.

Well that's an '05.

I'd guess it was about £400 - £600 new? (they were cheaper back then).

£150 - £200 on eBay I reckon.

My mate has just got himself exactly the same bike that has been used only a handful of times. He paid £125 for it.
