Frame Sizes?

Looking at purchasing a Hybrid to get to work on and occasional rides up bridal ways, I haven't owned a bike since I was 15 (I'm 24 now) and I'm a bit confused about frame sizes.

I'm 6'3, would a 20 inch be OK for me or should I be looking at something bigger?

Also can someone recommend me a decent hybrid (new or used) up to around £250? Any particular brands to look out for at this price point?

Frame sizing varies between manufacturers, the best bet is to try out a few different bikes to see what feels best. A decent bike shop will be able to offer advice on frame sizing to best suit you.

It depends massively on manufacturer.

I'm 6'2 and have ridden bikes between 18 and 21 inches. Typically, I feel most comfy on 19.5 but it's personal preference and I ride bikes with long top tubes.
