Really enjoyed it as well and we were lucky to have great weather and a rapidly drying course to make it lots of fun.
It seemed to have a great atmosphere as well, obviously a few very competitive teams but it was all well spirited and had loads of fun singletrack to ride.
I was part of a mixed 4 who ended up just above mid-table, and we all couldn't wait to do our next lap. Sometimes on endurance events you are loathing having to go out again.

I've not heard of this one. How does it compare to other events (Mountain Mayhem for example)?
We're looking for something like this for next year, but don't fancy the huge (numbers of people and cost) size of MM. Looking for something smaller for our first 12/24 hour event. It also needs to be quite non-technical as one our group isn't too keen on that type of riding.

It's fairly similar to MM in some ways, despite being smaller in scale as it's all about the atmosphere and getting people to have fun while riding. Being only 12 hrs though, people do tend to drift away a little more during the night/immediately afterwards so you don't get the benefits of riding into the dawn light.
However, for me it wins in a number of ways over the likes of MM because even in a deluge it's all still rideable (MM is a clag-fest); the riding is actually interesting as there is plenty of singletrack, and it's focussed on people who can ride, not all-comers. I'm not saying you have to be an expert in any way, but they haven't dumbed the course down completely.
For your one potential team member who doesn't like singletrack/technical, it may not be for them although they do have 12 months to learn. For the rest of you, make sure you sign up!
