Spin Bike Recommendations

I'm looking for opinions on a indoor spin bike for the wife to use whilst in front of the TV. I was going to get her a turbo trainer but this would prevent me from using the bike when I wanted to so a spin bike with good adjustability seems the sensible option. There appear to be a huge number of options and after spending a few hours going round in circles I come up with two options. One at the circa £300 bracket and another at the higher end.

I've used the livestrong bikes at the gym and they are good piece of kit but its over the twice the price of the kettler. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience of either of the above.

This being pistonheads it wouldn't be right to miss an opportunity to go over the top on buying kit, so how about renting a wattbike? £60 per month, so you don't even need to eBay it when you need the space back at Christmas.

Granted they have their uses, but...£60 a month? From November to March that's £300. How much for a conventional trainer and/or rollers, some Sufferfest videos and some SKS guards?!

I've got that exact model, although I paid ~£200 second-hand. Does me perfectly, swapped on a better/comfier saddle and SPDs and set it up to mimic my riding position on my hardtail. For all I use it, i.e. not often, it's more than up to the job.
