Afternoon all

I've mapped out a little time trial and it's worked out 9.5 miles. I've done it 3 times now and I get marginally better every run out.

How far is your time trial? I'm not sure I'm doing it enough so how often do you complete yours?

There is a 23 mile loop that I do sometimes, sometimes solo, sometimes with others. Quite hard though as its got lots of stops.

The other good one is Richmond Park, 1 lap or 3 round there is a good benchmark, I've gone balls out once to get a 3 lap time, but never gone full on just for 1. That is just under 7 miles per lap.

I have two that I use regularly for training. The first is just shy of 30 miles and I have records going back almost 10 yrs. The other is just under 60 miles. Set a PB on both over the last couple of weeks so must be going ok!

This segment is on my regular weekend route. Has a pretty decent climb in the middle, some fast flat sections and a very fast and twisting decent. It's a good test of all-round bike fitness rather than the usual climbs or flat segments.

Not saying where I am on the leaderboard...
