What bike torque wrench do you use?

I'm starting to build up a nice collection of bike tools and want a torque wrench next, one grunt or two grunts with an allen key might not be the best solution to doing up bolts - bearing in mind that they're pretty pricey which one do you have?

Was recommended it as the mechanics in various bike shops seem to use them - pretty impressed with it so far.

You will find plenty of discussions regarding these type of wrenches and how they are a waste of time, feel is better, they don't stay calibrated etc etc, better than nothing in my opinion.

I have a 3/8 drive Halfords pro one for 10NM upwards, below that I mostly guess.

Norbar 1-20NM 1/4" drive torque wrench £85 from ebay, for higher torques I've a Snap On 3/8" drive one cost about the same. And just for good measure, although not required for the bike there is a Snap On 1/2" drive torque wrench.

Picked up one from ProBikeKit for something like £30 a couple of years back. Does the job nicely.

This one. Despite owning one I'm in two minds about how useful they are. Unless you're a total clutz I'm not sure they rank as an "essential" bit of kit.

Bring my SnapOn one home from work, one of the benefits of being a vehicle tech, you have a massive arsenal of tools built up over the years.

If you want something suitably PH then look at the Computorq3. They do a high accuracy (HA) version for a few more pennies.
