How do you store yours?

Just picked up 2 new bikes and now I need to find a clever solution for storing 2 bikes in the garage when they aren’t in use. The garage gets used a fair bit and I have a lot of equipment so space is a premium!

Hanging them off the wall is possibly my only option – but was wondering if anyone had any clever solutions I hadn’t considered.

I do mine off the wall, but that's because there's a Caterham in there. A full size car is much harder to squeeze in alongside. I did consider a hook and pulley system to hold them flat against the ceiling, but ultimately the damage caused by something dropping unexpectedly onto the Seven was too much risk.

If you can be bothered, things pack down much better by removing the front wheel and twisting the bars 90 degrees. That's how I get two bikes on a rack side by side and a full size car in the garage when I have to.

I'll await replies with interest with 6 bikes (road and mtb each for me and wife and 2 kids mtb) shortly to be supplemented with 2 kid's road bikes!

I have a wall mounted security rack that can fit 2 in, the others are just stored with bike locks to each other in the garage, it worries me and is a pain!
