Braze-on front mech bracket - cracked

Question is, it hasn't failed yet, and the mech is working fine, but what can I do with it?

It's an aero frame, so I can't grind it off and put a band-clamp version on, and the frame is aluminium, so it's beyond my Fred in a shed welding abilities. Is it better to try and get it welded up by a pro before it breaks off, or will I have to cut the original bracket off and get a new one welded on? And where would I get that spare part from in the first place?

Fort victor style aero/Tri/TT btw.

http://www.argoscycles.com should be able to do any repairs you need. google says your frame is what? £300 plus shipping. if it were me man logic would dictate buying a chinese full carbon tt frameset for £400 inc shipping and swap over the components

I'm considering a conversion to a bolt on tab, as I can get access to a riv nut closure tool, and that should make the frame more future-proof, rather than theoretical scrap if dropped onto the front mech. ( not sure if that was the cause )
I will try the epoxy metal route even before than though!
