A new way to crash

Well had an interesting tumble today in a cyclocross race, just remounted the bike, left foot clipped in, right foot, missed the pedal, and ended up catching my front wheel with it, which in turn dragged it up and into the fork, whoops, over the bars I went. At the time I wasn't chuckling, but it made me think of a few threads asking about getting stuck in and toppling over, chuckling now, no harm done.

On description alone, I'd give that 9.5/10. Not many SPD-related incidents result in an over-the-bars adventure

If it helps you are not the only one. I performed the exact same manoeuvre once - only difference was I was cycling in a nice straight line along an (mostly) empty residential street. The nearby pedestrians were somewhat bemused.

(I was seeing if my new SPD's allowed me to pedal with just one foot. Turns out they do, but I am an epic muppet)
