20-25L Rucksack/Hydration Pack

So my trust Blowfish of many years (8 iirc) has died, snapped some of the straps, tried to sew them back but simply not good enough, plus I managed to lose the chest strap in a house move with is a proper pain.

Have started taking my lad out with me, he is 7 so I need to take a few extras (layers of clothes, food etc) I have a 42 litre North Face ruck sack whcih I've been using, but its just a bit too big for when i'm by myself and just need water and food.

This looks ok http://www.wiggle.co.uk/camelbak-blowfish-20-hydra... but could do with some external straps to tie kags etc on to, any recommendations?

I've gone for a North Face Litho 24 and use a CamelBak Bladder.

The Camelbak Mule and the H.A.W.G. are pretty good had them both, use the H.A.W.G. permanently now

I'd look at the Osprey range if you want something that big, 20l is quite large for mtbs and the temptation is to fill a bag so it needs to be a good fit.

I have an Osprey Talon 22 which I have used every day for the last 18 months and it is great. Available in different sizes to suit you and hydration bladder are available in a variety of volumes. I have the 3litre which is great for all day rides. I'd not personally buy a bag from another manufacturer before checking the Osprey range in future.

Not heard of Osprey before, but look good and my camelback lasted me years. I will check them both out next weekend, cheers!
