MTB iPhone mount

Does anyone have any experience of a good quality iPhone mount for a MTB. My brother is after one, and I don't have a clue which ones are actually any good. He is mostly riding XC, there are quite a few on amazon etc, but I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience of a good secure one.

Topeak make one, sold a few and not had any back or complaints, haven't personally used it, but going by the returns it must be ok.

Topeak ridecase, which mounts on the stem cap is good.
I also have the "Ram Ez-On / Ez-Off Bicycle Handlebar Mount for the Apple iPhone 4" which I also like (it's very sturdy and made in the USA).
Both allow 90 degree rotation for landscape orientation.

If you like having your iphone protected when in your pocket, I'd recommend the Ridecase as you can just unclip it and it doubles as a case. You can also buy a bar mount for the ridecase if you have a number of bikes.
