Who's Doing 79 Miles this weekend

There is a Strava challenge this weekend to cover 79 miles within 24h. Its to celebrate the 79th running of the world champs road race; so who's in?

yes its either going to be a wet ride on Saturday, or hope for better on Sunday. If all goes well it'll be my biggest ride, previously doing 4 100K's

Do 127.111km then.

Just to break the thread: I probably won't. I am going to try and do an 80km though, the weather looks damp but otherwise tolerable (not windy).

I'm going to try on saturday. Will be my longest ride to date, but I'm cheating and going to the cheshire plain rather than the peak district. I know it's a cop out, but meh.

Started out in the dark,raining like mad and windy

84 miles for me taking in part of the pennine bridleway and the Monsal trail. Not bad for a 1x9 'crosser on knobblys!
