Blimey you dont give us much to work on?! Assume this is road and 10 speed Shimano fitting with 53/39....

1. 12-25 Ultegra cassette, nice close ratios and 39/25 with mild swearing should get you up most climbs

2. I'm still running continental GP4000s tyres which I really like and are still on the bike. However, planet x sent a link to this offer today which was tempting just to see how they compare

Sorry, was thinking and typing, and being a bloke so not able to do both at the same time!

A Road bike, with 10sp FSA K Force Light front crank (53.39), and yes for a Shimano setup.

Ultegra is right for the cassette, and I run the non-light Pro 3 Service Course and really like them so the one above should be ideal for normal riding ie. not commuting or filthy roads.

+1 = exactly my set up, in ratio and tyres, (I use sram groupo)
