Sod Christmas presents I'm buying... instead

- A new chain (mine exploded yesterday, in a way I've never seen!)
- another rear tyre for winter snow and mud, just noticed mines started to perish around the treads.

So what will you be buying instead of gifts?

I bought myself some rebas, xt wheels, and tyres for the 29er, and a super logic seat post for the road bike.. Does that count?

Ha, it's in the bin, 5 links went pop simultaneously, but only 3 are next to each other, and two lost just the plates, whilst the pins stayed put; my bike shop monkey just laughed.

A new road bike. I fancy the Boardman Race but will probably wait until after Christmas to see if there are any deals around. With any money I save I might buy the missus a belated present.
