Long Cycling Tights
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer of cycling tights or waterproof riding trousers that are particularly long in the leg?
I'm a 34 waist and 36 leg and everything that I've found so far seems to be way too short for me. In the past I've ridden in jeans, but I plan to do some muddy off-roading and jeans just aren't going to cut it.
Thanks in advance.

Seems a bit steep for tights, but if they're good and they fit well then that'll be a welcome first.
Top stuff, thanks.
£60 for bib's is quite cheap by comparison to others on the market. I spent £35 on a pair of Biemme Roubaix bib's a couple of years ago. To be fair they are reasonably warm on cold days, but you would not want to ride more than about 30 miles in them as the seams rub and become uncomfortable. Also, despite the fact the sizing is correct the stirrups cut into my feet after an hour or so.Top stuff, thanks.
If I could bring myself to spend the money I would buy the Assos winter bib's - I tried a pair on this weekend and the difference in quality with my current bib's are night and day - but then they cost almost 6 times as much!

wow!.Don't the bib tights with the stirrups stretch far enough? i've got some dhb ones from wiggle, you could easily get a refund if they don't work out?

If it's muddy off road MTB stuff, could you just wear baggies with leg warmers underneath?
You mean long socks and effectively, long shorts?I've a feeling I'm going to end up with that ridiculous golfer look.
...I'm definitely struggling to find a look that I'd be happy with in daylight.

I'd imaging he means cycling leg warmers like these:I've a feeling I'm going to end up with that ridiculous golfer look.

Great in spring as well as they can be taken off when things warm up.

I wear them under baggies on my MTB when it's cold or sometimes with bib shorts if on my road bike and my long bib tights are in the wash. Work a treat plus it won't matter if your legs are really long.
It looks just like you're wearing tights with baggies on top so they're not as crotchy as just wearing tights on their own.
I wear baggies year round and only tend to add longs underneath them, whent he weather turns really s
tty and cold - Nov to Mar, sort of - and can offer the following advice:
tty and cold - Nov to Mar, sort of - and can offer the following advice:- If you like hills and pedalling, don't get too warm a set of longs or you'll cook.
- A lot of cheap longs/tights are crap.
- A pair of waterproof baggies makes British winters far more bearable (and are easier to hose mud off) and are often useful well beyond winter.
- and finally MTFU.

I use these: http://www.endura.co.uk/Product.aspx?dept_id=133&a...
They are a bit "boil-in-the-bag" for anything but proerly wet or cold days, but have so far been very waterproof and comfortable.
