My BiL is currently living near NYC and has offered to go shopping for me if ever I need him to, having a quick look at US based websites I can't see anything that would offer a significant saving, the only thing I can really think of is Chris King loveliness.

I've been looking for some Tektro CR720 brakes for my crosser, they are cheaper to buy from the states including shipping than what I can find them in the UK.

have a look at www.racycles.com and see how the prices match up. I would assume frames and things from Lynskey are cheaper? I did a quick check though and an Argon 18 Gallium Pro frameset is $3k from RA or £2k from Primera in Bournemouth... apparently $3k is £1.8k at the moment but factor in import tax and faff and is it really worth it?

its interesting how many reviews on wiggle come from Australia though, a few from the US and some US forums mention the likes of Ribble and Wiggle a lot more now too...
