Garmin Edge 209 fitting to bike

There are two versions of the 1/4 turn base, one for stem, one for bars.

The rubber bands go around the stem/bars corner to corner on the base.

Google images should show a good picture of how it fits. I'm on my phone so can't check right now.

I was given a 200 for Christmas and was scratching my head for a minute before I figured it out too. It's very slick fitting on the bike, really impressed.

I hate these rubber ring fittings. Always manage to pinch a finger putting them on.

As far as I could tell, both bases are identical and will fit vertically or horizontally to either the stem or the bars. The reason for there being two I thought was so you can have fittings on two bikes?

Ok thanks for the clarification. I have the 705 which is the older slide on rather than 1/4 turn. That came with one of each type for bars or stem.

Yep - 2 sets. Have one fitted on each bike
