Feb Strava challenge - who's in?

Sadly, not me.

100 mile ride between 22nd and 24th Feb. I'm already booked and paid to be karting, so won't shun it for a Strava badge. Slightly annoying, because if I could do it on te 17th, I'd have given it a go...

Might give it a go, only just got my first road bike though, done one ride on it on the weekend which was 37 miles and hoping to up it to 50 miles tomorrow! Still going to be quite a steep improvement to knock out 100 miles in two weeks! Think I need to plan a flat easy route with a pub/cafe halfway round!

Just checking out the weather for Friday (my most clear day of the challenge period) and the weather's looking truly nasty. Close to freezing and 15mph easterly wind. Considering just going east for 100 miles!

i've got friday tentatively booked as annual leave for this one as its been a while since my last good long day out on the bike but the weather is looking baltic and i'm not looking forward to 6 or 7 hours in 2 deg c and some strong easterly gales....

Just be training out the back and it's bd cold...

Still want to give it a shot though. I think. Despite tomorrow night being the only shift I have at work til March.

just been told that day off i had booked aint gonna happen.... reckon i can thin out early and still make FoD in the daylight though so a lap or two of the xc loop is doable but i'm not doing 100 miles off road!

I too cannot see that in the challenges page, but then again, I'll be lying on a beach next week

To be honest, think i'm going to give it a miss...
Snow is forcast, along with freezing temps...
Don't mind the cold, but not going out with ice on the ground...

Going to head upwind for 50 miles and then turn around and let it blow me all the way home...

I gave it a miss... It was a choice of get up and ride in the bd cold, or spend a few hours tucked up in bed with Gretch...

Went out for a quick spin for 80 minutes. Anyone who does a proper century in the next few days deserves that badge!

Snow hitting you square in the face as the strong Easterly chills your bones. I'm just not badass enough I'm afraid!

made it up to the FoD, had a great time, place was empty so I pushed it a bit and had a lot of fun. Defiantely want a go on a 29er now....
