Behold.... The Walrus Continental!

On Monday morning, I stopped at some traffic lights approaching the Elephant & Castle. As one does, I was having a glance around at the other stationary bikes to see what others were riding. Normally, it has to be said, this doesn't really deliver much in the way of interesting sights. Not many people, after all, commute on anything particularly sexy on a cold, wet Monday morning in February!

This Monday morning, however, was very different.... Waiting next to me at the lights was a chap sporting what appeared to be socks made from the finest Harris tweed, riding the truly magnificent contraption pictured below.



Have you ever seen anything quite so wonderfully odd?

I don't get it, so I Googled and found a website showing someone building one. One of the comments was good:

I suspect that may have been the same chap you found. I very much think this is a one off special!
