Afternoon all. I'm lucky enough to be going over to Morzine in June so have started to look at body armour. Was just after any recommendations or advice from people who have been and what they use. Was after something fairly lightweight to cover chest, back and shoulder areas as I already have separate elbow pads. Have been looking at POC and dainese so far. Thanks in advance, Dan.

Dianese is excellent, mines lasted well.

Get some armoured shorts and some knee/shins and a full face lid and your set.... Oh and goggles
Enjoy, it's awesome smile

I've 'used' 661 and dainese to good effect smile

Dianeese stuff is pretty spot on, and compared to POC stuff it's a relative bargain!

That's what I thought. At almost £100 more for the equivalent POC jersey the dainese looks good value!

Are you doing the PDS? Dare I tempt fate and suggest that if that is all you are doing you don't need body armour. Max is just some elbow and knee pads. I did it last year and am going again this year. It is superb fun, especially if the sun is out!

Giving the PDS a miss I think. Basically going for a week of uplifts and full on downhill! This combined with my usual over exuberance and lack of skills means body armour is a must!!!
