I suspect the decision to play a music track rather than the real audio was probably a wise move - I suspect it would be somewhat NSFW due to the language used!

I wonder whether the editing each time he approaches a red light and crossing was
a)To cut out the boring bits of him stood still, patiently waiting at the red light, or more likely
b) To cut out the footage of him narrowly missing pedestrians and cutting up moving traffic.

I'm just puzzled why he keeps going for gaps that are obviously closing, no need, there is one early on, where vehicles clearly have a right turn signal on, and he goes to their left, why, no need.

I don't know what NY taxi drivers are like but putting your faith in taxi drivers ability to be aware of what's around them is madness in the extreme!

Not exactly pedal powered though.
And he's a mental doing that in Russia. I've seen plenty of other videos of that stretch of road to know accidents are frequent and the drivers are terrible.

2 minutes? Hero status granted. I clicked 'close' after 26 seconds, as the constant side to side was making me feel ill. I knew how it would end, and I'm not THAT desperate to see someone act the tit on a bike. As others have posted, there are better cycling videos that you can watch without suffering from motion sickness.

It's more dumb riding than dangerous riding. The wide angle lens on a go pro makes the gaps look smaller than they really are, also, while he is riding like a dick the speeds they are going are pretty low. This along with the fact that nobody actually wants to kill someone else (far too much paperwork) means I think he isn't really putting his life in too much danger.
Acting like a grade A cocksprocket, yes. Likely to get him self killed, not so much.
