another garmin issue / histories

my rides have stopped saving into histories.

i had quite a few in histories, so i deleted all histories.

went on a ride.

histories then filled up with rides from 2012, but not the one i just did.

deleted histories again.

did a ride.

same thing happened.

any ideas?
