Think I have the bug properley now!

Used to do a bit of Downhill and Cross Country as a young 'un (not that I am an old 'un now at 25), but as a car came along the bike got stashed away in the back of the shed and only used as a 'pootle' around on the lanes etc for an hour or so.

At the beginning of the year I thought that I would sign up for a London to Paris ride, since training for this I can’t get out on my bike enough! I now have the riding bug.

I am still collecting kit, can't see that coming to an end any time soon!

Got in trouble from swimbo last weekend as we had 'plans' and I went out for a little ride in the morning and came home 6 hours later. So as she was giving me a 'talking to' I went out again! Needless to say I wasn't popular when I got home but I had one hell of a ride with a nice half time stop

Shame you hadn't been bitten a couple of weeks ago when I was in Sommerton, we could have killed a couple of hours with a spin up to the Gorge and back down Bristol Hill!

Get out and enjoy it, but be warned - the spending starts once you have properly been bitten by the bug!

I enjoyed it before but something on that rode just clicked and that was it. I was gone

Can't wait for the proper spending to start now!

The suit case is just the start! I won't go into any of the other rules I have broken, I do want to have some street cred left!

That would be good Maddad, by then my avg speed will hopefully be up a bit also
