As per the title. This is the thread for the PH Cycling Weekend Photos.
Many thanks to Pablo for organizing and despite the rain, cold, hail and snow, I think we all had a good time
Saturday's ride was probably one of the toughest 50 miles I have ever done.
Following the weekend's efforts, I have now purchased a bigger rear cassette to help with the hills!
The first mechanical issue. Snapped chain = knackered derailleur and hanger
Next break down. Inner tube exploded in spectacular fashion. Very Rapha
This was the Cat 2 climb. I'll admit it broke me and like others I resorted to walking. I'd like to return and have another go one day. Fair play to Louiebaby for nearly completing it with only one gear and it certainly wasn't the ideal one for that bit of road!

Just when we thought we had seen all the weather that Wales could throw at us...
This was the supposed flat course for Sunday's ride...Turned out it wasn't so flat...
This was taken just outside the bunkhouse. perfectly comfortable and a decent amount of space for the bikes.
The recovery hook off the RLNI Launch Tractor. Probably about three times the size of the ones on my Landy!
The Tractor unit. We were expecting a sound similar to Scania with open pipes. It sounded more like a Vauxhall Vectra Diesel..
We were lucky to arrive just as they were about to leave for a training exercise.
The weather was certainly cold for most the weekend. This is brilliantly demonstrated below
The Cafe stop after the RNLI photo taking. The hot chocolate and tea was very welcoming.
Just me messing about with the green highlighting on my my phone.
Last but not least, the only photo we have of all of us together. Sadly we were two short as two of the guys had gone home early.
Sorry its bit wonky. Haven't got round to editing it yet.

Crikey - I haven't even managed to get the bikes out of the car yet. Still, sunny in Somerset, so a bike cleaning evening ahead.With rain.

Came home from my 20m loop a few hours ago. Heavens opened about 20 mintes from the end

Filled mine up last night, and it was showing 27mpg for the trip, which I think is pretty reasonable for a petrol 4.4l V8.Oh, and turn the bloody heating on, man!
I wasn't hanging around on the Welsh section coming in on Fri night, but was a bit slower going out in the procession of tourists.
At least I know I'd be no better off with a Disco though.

27mpg is pretty impressive considering. You were following me at one point. As you say quite slow on the way to M6. They had some major roadworks which didn't help either.
