Look Mum No Sleep! Orbital Cycling Festival

Part of the Orbital Cycling Festival at Goodwood. Basic idea is to ride through from Look Mum No Hands! to Goodwood.

I'm away, but suspect the Dun Runners et al on here would enjoy it.

I read that this is part of a plan to make Audax the new cool and funky thing for the sportive generation.

Not a bad idea tbh: in a year or two all the MAMILs will look at the stats and say "yeah, I'm no Wiggo. But I can ride 400km..."

To be fair, Rapha have been doing their best to make audax cool for a year or two. Their latest video is pretty good.

The discussion on YACF (the de facto AUK forum) is mostly bleating about how £20 for a 200 is a ripoff and it should be £5 as usual. I suspect efforts to make audax cool will be a struggle, but it's nice to have some faster riders drawn in.

I wondered if there was a thread about this on here. I've just signed up as I can't make the Dun Run. It looks interesting and I've managed to persuade the other half to pick me up at Goodwood the next day too so I won't have to cycle home
