.....heard a funny ping when I got back from a ride on Thursday night, couldnt find what it was then when I washed the bike last night I found this:



given my Yeti is currently in the LBS and now this at this rate they;ll have more of my bikes than I do.

Spent last night digging out the old Giant which weighs the same as a small aircraft and has a mere 21 gears pfffftt, this should be a hard fews days then.

I heard a similar ping at the beginning of the Nightrider last weekend. 70-odd miles later, I found a cause similar to your picture! Surprised I didn't bugger the wheel to be honest.
