Commenting on your own Strava ride before anyone else...

I made a comment on my ride this morning "Nice pre-breakfast ride. 20miles at 15mph. Considering how out of shape I am, I'm happy with that." as I uploaded it.

The next comment was "Surely commenting on your own ride before anyone else is as bad as talking to yourself! LOL...going mad...."

All tongue in cheek, but have I inadvertently created rule #93?

Just the same as liking your own Facebook status, really.

I'm with Dizzee - it would actually be nice if you could do a 'note' when you save the ride. After a ride, having been thinking I find I'm full of ideas and observations that seem to evaporate as I soon as I peel off the sweaty Lycra.

Me too, always add a note to my rides, usually weather conditions, temperature, road conditions and how good (or totally shagged) I felt before riding.

Helps when you are trying to figure out why you can't better your segment times = '100 mph tailwind' or 'belly full of curry and beer.....'

When I was new to Strava I accidentally gave myself Kudos on a not very impressive commute...

... fortunately I didn't have any followers then so nobody need ever know!

Agreed, my pump is fixed to the frame and dust caps are still on, not to mention a 1 litre bottle (incorrect term)!
